NATURE and WILDLIFE
I found this little feller in my garden one misty morning. He was actually hanging underneath the leaf, but I thought he looked better when I turned him over.. I used the Nikon 105VR with full set of three Kenco close up rings and two SB200 flashes mounted at the front of the lens. He looks a bit of a monster, but it was less than a quarter of an inch long.
I know it's just a scabby old pidgeon, but this old girl came staggering up to me with its foot tangled in string. After I freed her foot she was my friend for life and sat on my shoulder while I carried on snapping away at the sqirrels.. perhaps the supply of peanuts I brought to tempt the squirrels may have influenced her a little too !! Luckily she had the good manners not to crap on my shoulder :-)
