The Post office in Woolwich was originally located in 1873 in Greens end near Powis street.. The three storey building on the right of the picture was all there was at first .. Opened in 1891. The single storey extension was added during world war one and included a larger sorting office behind. The Post office cosed in 2008 and the sorting office in September 2011 ..........
