Two drapers companies occupied this site from the late 1800s, The two of them merged in 1930 and then in 1950 Robinson Taylor became a furniture store .. They rebuilt the store in its present form in 1960 and continued trading until 1963 when Fine fare moved in . copyright Chris Mansfield
