The Olympic torch relay came to woolwich on July 21st 2012.. After a brief appearance in General Gordon square the flame was transferred to a Miners Davy lamp for the trip over the Woolwich ferry.. No naked flames allowed on the ferry copyright Chris Mansfield

Is it just me being an old miseryguts or are there just too many betting shops in Woolwich ?? If you take a 2 minute walk from Wetherspoons Pub to 'Iceland' you will pass 6 betting shops
